CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

During this period of lockdown I am offering an online class programme.  I will be using an online video conferencing platform called Zoom which connects you to me in real time. It also means you will be able to take classes more frequently and at different times of the week. You need to book your space in the class on my website and I will email you a link which will automatically download Zoom on to your phone, tablet or pc/laptop. Insert the meeting ID and a password and you will be connected to a private class. 

will running online classes until Thursday 30th April. There will be NO classes from Friday 10th April - Monday 13th April for the Easter break.

This will not be permanent. Running a business during lockdown is challenging. I will be reviewing my class programme on Thursday 23rd April and making a decision to stay online based on the government guidelines on that day. 

 

HELLO

I'm Amanda and I live on the Northumberland / Cumbria border. Having enjoyed a career as a dancer, yoga became my next love. What started out as a tool to protect and heal a broken body became a holistic daily practice.
I have a strong belief that yoga is for everyone. My inclusive teaching style offers you the tools to develop your own yoga practice, enjoying the acceptance and awareness that brings. 
So whatever the reason for choosing yoga, I hope you find my classes welcoming and relevant.

REGULAR CLASSES

Classes are a great way to develop your practice under the guidance of a teacher. I teach a rolling programme of yoga and dance based classes in Northumberland and Cumbria. I have an inclusive teaching style, and will adapt the class to ensure everyone can participate.

1:1 AND PRIVATE GROUP SESSIONS

I am available for 1:1 and small group sessions. These will be tailored to suit your needs.

  • You would like to develop your existing practice and work on alignment or posture

  • You would like to work therapeutically according to your needs / any injuries

  •  You would to learn more about meditation and relaxation techniques

WORKSHOPS

I am also able to teach one-off workshops for children, young people and specialist groups. During the term I offer new yoga or dance experiences in a safe workshop environment. These are a great opportunity to extend your practice and knowledge of your body and movement.
